Brazil Time

I arrived back in Rio on Saturday morning, feeling nervous about leaving life in NY for so long.  But I push myself out of a comfort zone so I can write, and make a change - as producing web sites for the rest of my life is not my actualization.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have the option, and feel really lucky that the work is there - but as you know if you’re on this site - I wanna make movies.

So anyways, back in Brazil, in Rio - Ipanema to be exact - and the place is great.  The sun is shining the food is fantastic and everything is beautiful.

Today (on the beach) I re-read Brazil Run for the first time in a couple years.  This is my goal for the first month, to re-write Brazil Run, and make it as good as it can be.  I hope that the few years of writing since I first drafted it will have paid off, and allow me to focus on expanding and deepening the hero’s emotional journey, the character arch… sounds easy enough.
